Ireland - North Coast Scenic Drive

Enough of the coastal scenery, now it was time to visit the Bushmills Distillery. This is the oldest licensed distillery in the world. A licence was granted to Sir Thomas Phillipps in 1608 by King James I although of course this distillery has not been here that long. It uses water drawn from Saint Columb's Rill which is a tributary of the River Bush and hence the name. We took the tour and did the whiskey tasting - very good!
